Money Tree

The Guiana chestnut, also known as the money tree (Pachira aquatica), is a tropical tree native to Central and South America that is widely cultivated as a houseplant. It is known for its braided trunk, shiny palmate leaves with 5 to 9 leaflets, and large flowers with cream-colored petals and red-tipped stamens. In the wild, it is a wetland tree that can grow up to 60 feet, while indoors it remains much smaller and is often sold with a braided stem. It produces large, woody fruit pods containing edible seeds that taste like peanuts when raw and chestnuts when cooked
